Hi-5 your partner - or heck, pop a bottle of bubbly - because you just ticked “Book an incredible videographer” off your wedding to-do list! Initially we may chat over email, if you’re local we might catch up for a coffee or vino, or we can jump on a call to have an initial consultation, go through any of your questions, and get your date secured on my calendar if you decide I’d be a good fit for you. To lock you in I require a $800 non-refundable booking fee to be paid (or $600 for elopements) and I have a contract for you to sign.

Typically couples book me in 12-18 months prior to their wedding or elopement, and so once it’s official, there isn’t too much else I need until we get closer. I am available for unlimited contact in the lead-up to your wedding, and am more than happy to help with any questions or shoot through vendor recommendations for any other suppliers you might need to continue to build your dream team.
In the time between booking me & closer to your day - let’s connect on socials! I love being in contact with my couples in the lead-up through Instagram, for me it helps us build a familiarity & friendship in a space where we can casually chat and get to know each other better, it’s super important to me that you feel more like a friend than a ‘client’ by the time your wedding day rolls around. Approximately 1-2 months before your wedding, I’ll be back in touch to say hello! I’ll normally send out a detailed questionnaire to gather a whole lot more info about your plans. After this, I’ll typically suggest a meeting so we can run through your day & plans, give you a bit of insight on how videography will play out, and of course help you draft timeline that ensures everything regarding your videography & photography will run super smoothly.

Within a week, you’ll get a sneak peek to show off a little tease of your day while it’s all fresh on your mind & you’re still riding that wedding high!

The wait-time for your final edit/s may vary depending on how far into the peak wedding season we are & how many weddings I have in queue before yours. My contract that you will sign upon booking me allows me up to a 6 months, however on average my couples get their films back between 2-4 months after the wedding day. I will always let you know a more accurate estimate right after your wedding so that you’re not left wondering. Editing is the most time-consuming part of my job and so I appreciate your patience while your film gets all the love, creativity and attention it deserves.

You get your film back & get to re-live ALL THE MAGIC! All the planning that went in, all the tears on the day and the feelings you felt will all come flooding back as you watch your very own movie featuring you and your favourite people in the world. You get to experience it all with your partner and then have the joy of showing all your family and friends, even those who couldn’t be there on the day. You’ve now got a heirloom to treasure and watch forever, something that will outlive us all.
