Full Ceremony Video // +$800 - A separate video of your entire Ceremony, starting from the walk down the aisle through to all the hugs at the end.

Full Video of your First Dance // +$175 - A video of your whole first dance song - great if you’ve choreographed something special! This add-on will also include any formally organised dance with Parents if you do one (Father/daughter, Mother/Son etc.). Please know that if you invite others up onto the dance floor during these moments/songs, it does get harder to get shots specifically of just the couple/parents.

Extra Hours of coverage // $500/hr - My All day wedding packages includes me being on-site & all yours for up to 10 continuous hours. This is typically ample time for me to capture all the main events & formalities, normally this might look like 11am until 9pm, or similar, depending on your schedule. If the plan for your day though is more spaced out, you can add additional hours of coverage depending on what is required.

Extend Second Shooter Time // +$300 - A second videographer is included already to begin from the Ceremony onwards, however if you’d like an extra shooter for the preparations too (if for example, you have two photographers and they’ll be splitting up for the morning) this add-on is an option. Typically I find one shooter is enough for this first part of the day, as quite often hotel rooms can quickly feel too crowded with too many cameras hanging around, but please feel free to discuss your needs with me and I can recommend what might work best.

Extra days of filming and/or Engagement Films available // please contact me with your requests for a quote, I’m always up for an adventure if you’ve got any ideas! This is great if you’d like to spend more time with your guests on the wedding day and get some cute shots of the two of you on a separate day. We did this for our own wedding and it was so much fun!

Magic Moments (perfect for social media!) // +$250 - 5 x short 5-15 second vertical professional video segments/montages for Instagram Stories/Reels. You can specify a moment/s before the wedding if you know you definitely want something particular (e.g the walking down the aisle moment, or a first look moment, or general cute shots of you with your partner), but otherwise I will make them based off assorted interesting things that I captured or that happened during your day. These will be delivered with your sneak peek video within a week of your wedding. They will not include voiceovers/audio from the day or music in the background, as it will be assumed you’ll use your own music choices when posting on Instagram Reels or Tik Tok. Any Social Video requests that contain spoken audio from the day may require an extra fee depending on the complexity or extra time required.

Please note I do not book my elopement package on Saturday’s. Typically my elopement package is most suitable for weddings with up to 20 guests.

Typically a full wedding day for me involves multiple cameras, audio, tripods - all the gear in order to make sure that every section of the day is captured, and captured well! Extensive videography has always been such a strong value of mine, and I have always strived to create videos with an extremely high level of dedication & production value, as well as so much of my heart & soul..

However I’ve noticed especially in the recent year or so, there is a need for there to be a more affordable, but still high quality, option for those who understand how important these memories are, but don’t need all the bells & whistles of my signature style, or are working with a much tighter budget.

Petite Films are just one videographer with one camera, following those magic moments & allowing the flow of the day to inspire, rather than a lot of my focus being on the extensive coverage & dedication to all the equipment & set-up that my typical full day packages ask of me. Full moments can’t be guaranteed captured as they are with my multi-camera set-ups i usually do, however you’ll still have a sweet little story to look back on with the best moments.

The audio/spoken words I capture and edit my petite films are only the couples vows, they will not contain any story from the celebrant, and will not contain any speeches from guests, regardless of how long you have booked for.

Petite 1 / 1 minute highlight film & 1 hr coverage / $900

Petite 1 is only suitable for elopements with less than 10 guests

Typically perfect to capture the Ceremony & some quick shots at a nearby location

Petite 3 / 3 minute highlight film & 3 hr coverage / $2,000

A good amount of time to capture the Ceremony & some varying locations for a couples shoot, or a first look if doing one

Petite 4 / 4 minute highlight film & 4 hr coverage / $2,500

A bit more flexibility to capture perhaps some final getting ready moments, Ceremony & location shoot, and maybe the start of cocktail hour, this will all depend on your timeline.

What’s a highlight film?

JADÈ highlight films are most likely what has drawn you to choose me to capture your big day. It’s a condensed creative edit of the best moments from your wedding day, edited in such a way that it draws out all the love, fun and emotional moments, and keeps true to you as a couple. I am constantly shooting little snippets of video from the 10+ hours I spend with you on the day, and from the best bits create a visual story that includes your vows and other spoken words from the Celebrant & your loved ones speeches through the day. Intertwine this with the perfect music, and I can create an heirloom that perfectly captures your story, your day, your love. I see the highlight film as an art form that I can create for you and your families, an heirloom that will outlive us all and it is inspired by your unique day!

Can I choose the music for my highlight film?

So there’s two sides to why my answer for this is a no. Legal/copyright and also creative.

Legally, it is only possible to use licensable music for anything that will be published publicly or online, licensing music means that you’ve gotten permission from the copyright owner and/or paid a fee to use the song legally. My wedding highlights film music is obtained off websites that I subscribe & pay license fees to use each year, these sites don’t offer most well-known artists. I have found in the past that it is also either impossible to actually contact the well known record labels labels or copyright owners for permission, or if you get through it can be extremely expensive to be able to license a well known track (say, Ed Sheeran). Using a licensed track ensures that you as the client are free to share and post your highlight video anywhere you please, and know that it is legally ok to do so. If you see someone sharing a wedding video with a popular song publicly online, unfortunately the business that did that is operating illegally (unless they actually did manage to get permission and license the famous track). There can be large fines and penalties for breaking copyright laws for the business owner, and even if some businesses get away with it it is not a risk I take. If you want to use a particular well known song for your highlight film, unfortunately I won’t be the right videographer for you.

If you purchase any long-form edits or ceremony edits, as these are private use films that you would’t share publicly, I also pay a fee to APRA AMCOS which allows me to use the songs that you actually had on the day (like your walking down the aisle song, or the song that played during your first dance) to go with your films, on the condition that it’s only for yourself and your own domestic & private viewing, and provided through private access such as a usb or your own online video gallery.

The other reason the answer is a no for your highlight film is hugely creative, and this is what I tell couples who ask if I can use ‘any song if they don’t share it on social media’. Music and how it flows through your creative film is such a huge part of how it comes together and makes you feel, being limited to a particular song choice would limit my creativity and my ability to tell the best story for you in my film style, which would be why you are likely hiring me in the first place. If having a particular song is important for you, then I won’t be the best fit for your videography. I appreciate the trust my couples put into me for having complete creative control over the music and if it helps, I have never had a couple come back to me and say that they hate the song/s I used! :)

How long will it take to receive my highlight film?

Wait-times can vary depending on how far into the wedding peak-season (April-November) we are. On average, couples can expect to get their film back from me in 2-4 months, but i’ll always give you an estimate right after your wedding day.

If you require your film to be edited and back to you ASAP (within 2-4 weeks of your wedding), I offer a “rush edit” service for an additional fee, where your film would be made top priority and jump to the front of my editing queue. This option is an additional $600 for elopements and $900 for full day weddings and would need to be arranged before your wedding day so I can make sure I have time in my schedule to do this for you. (In busy periods of more weddings to shoot I have less time to edit and am therefore slower with my delivery times) This option might be great for couples who are eloping in secret and want to use their video as their “surprise we got married” announcement for family and friends, or even just couples who just can’t stand to wait and want their film back as soon as possible.

I take so much care editing my films, and never rush and compromise quality just to get things back to you quicker. I pride myself on very open communication though and so you’ll never be in the dark about how far away your film will be.

Do you have equipment back-ups if something breaks or goes wrong on the day?

I bring 5-6 cameras with me to every wedding! If something happens to one camera, I’ve definitely got a back-up to switch to. For the main formalities I usually have a couple of cameras on tripods as well as one on myself, so that if one fails during something big like the ceremony and speeches, there are other angles to work with. I also have dual memory cards recording simultaneously in my main camera, so any moments where I’m just recording with one camera, the footage is going straight onto two memory cards, giving me a back-up if one of those cards corrupts. Technology isn’t 100% perfect and there is always a small percentage that something can go wrong, but you can rest assured that I do everything in my power to ensure i’ve got backups of equipment to get me through the day if anything happens.
I also record the ceremony & Speeches on multiple audio devices, so again, if one fails on me, I’ve got an alternative to use. Back-ups like this are something to be aware of when choosing between experienced videographers, and those who may be starting out.

In terms of backing up the footage, the night of your wedding I always transfer your footage and audio onto two separate hard drives, and upload a copy to the cloud. One hard drive is kept off-site at a family members house. Between two Hard Drive locations, and the cloud, Your footage is safe from theft, fire, flood, loss - you name it! You can rest assured that I am doing absolutely everything to keep your footage safe and secure until it is edited and delivered to you.
